Hi Rod,

High ferritin often indicates high inflammation. If you have any liver conditions that may increase inflammation, like Fatty Liver, fibrosis, infection, or autoimmunity we invite you to download Dr Cabot’s generously offered free e-book at https://liverdoctor.com/the-vital-principles-of-liver-cleansing-free-download/ for your knowledge and treatment.

To boost liver health and your vitality, Dr Cabot prescribes

Livatone Plus – 1 to 2 capsules twice daily, to improve liver function.

N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC 600mg) – 1 to 2 capsules twice daily well away from food, if any upset occurs take at the beginning of your meals. As you will see from the attached pamphlet this supplement works well with Livatone Plus to get your liver better faster. This supplement is the precursor nutrient of glutathione; the body’s strongest anti-oxidant.

Collagen food – ½ to 1 teaspoon twice daily in vegetable juice or water to reduce oxidation, inflammation and boost liver health.

You may purchase these supplements and Dr Cabot’s books at https://shop.liverdoctor.com/

Kind regards,
Jessah Shaw

Hi Em,

Even if your liver enzymes are normal, I'm sure if you were to get a liver ultrasound done there would be fat present in your liver.
Elevated CRP usually indicates inflammation.
I recommend taking Livatone Plus and NAC as recommended in the above article as well as following a low-carb diet such as in Dr Cabot's book:'Fatty Liver: You Can Reverse It' and checking out Dr Cabot's videos on fatty liver here: https://www.youtube.com/@drsandracabot/search?query=liver

Hi Erin,

Please watch Dr Cabot's recent video on liver tests.
You may also find this article helpful.

We recommend taking

Livatone Plus – Start with 1 capsule twice daily for the first 2 weeks and then increase to 2 caps twice daily, to improve liver function.

N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC 600mg) – Start with 1 cap twice daily for the first 2 weeks and then increase to 2 caps twice daily well away from food, if any upset occurs take at the beginning of your meals. NAC should be taken with a whole glass of water away from food. Do not take just before retiring to bed. NAC can be strong on the stomach, and this is why you need to take it with a whole glass of water. This supplement works well with Livatone Plus to get your liver better faster. Hi Abantonio
Yes most likely cause for high ferritin is liver inflammation caused by fatty liver. Your ferritin is moderately raised and not severe and should reverse if you follow diet on my fatty liver videos you will be successful. I would also recommend LIVATONE PLUS 4 capsules daily.
the raised WBC and lymphocytes could indicate a hidden infection and should be followed up in 4 months time with another blood test. The LIVATONE PLUS contains selenium and other things and will help to fight infection. We have a free e book on the immune system on www.liverdoctor.com

Hello,

I am a 32 year old woman and recently got blood work done.
Ferritin - 306.0 NRG/mL - High
WBC - 11.70x10E3/uL - High
Lymphocytes - 3.40x10E3/uL - High

Could you please tell me what this indicates? I have been tested for hemochomatosis and was negative. Does this sound like fatty liver?

Hello Jason,
The elevated liver tests, including Ferritin, are indications of Fatty Liver not iron overload, and there is no reason to have stopped taking Vitamin C.
Dr Cabot’s Fatty Liver book has a very effective diet plan to follow to reverse Fatty Liver or liver congestion.
Supplementation can hasten the reversal and Dr Cabot prescribes Livatone Plus, NAC, and Ox Bile.
