How to Take
1 full pump (1.3g of cream) provides 20 mg of bio-identical USP progesterone from wild yam. This container yields approximately 65 pumps. Massage 1 pump into smooth skin areas such as wrists, inner arms or thighs, throat, abdomen or chest, once or twice daily. Rotate applications to these areas. Premenopausal woman, use 14 days prior to the first day of menstruation, discontinue and repeat. Menopausal women use for 21 days, discontinue for 7 days and repeat. These are general recommendations only and may need to be modified for individual needs. For external use only.

Progesterone is a natural female hormone that is produced from the ovary after ovulation occurs in the last 14 days of the menstrual cycle. It prepares the uterus for implantation of the fertilized egg, and is thus called the hormone of fertility. It balances the effect of estrogen upon the breast and uterus, thus reducing breast pain and lumpiness and the amount of menstrual bleeding.
Dr Sandra Cabot’s progesterone cream contains real progesterone hormone in the natural bio-identical form. Some people think that plant hormones, (such as diosgenin found in wild yam or soy) are the same as real progesterone. Well they not, as they have a different chemical/physical structure to real progesterone. Our progesterone cream is USP Grade Progesterone and is derived from soy and yam but has been changed in the laboratory to make its structure identical to the progesterone made by your ovaries. That is why the cream is called “bio-identical” progesterone.
