Hi Chris,

Dr Cabot doesn't believe in urine therapy.
However, we recommend checking out her gallbladder videos here: https://www.youtube.com/@drsandracabot/search?query=gallbladder

In reply to <a href="https://liverdoctor.com/things-you-must-know-you-dont-have-gallbladder/#comment-118872">Deborah</a>.

Hi Deborah,

Please check out Dr Cabot’s recent videos on the gallbladder and fatty liver here:
https://www.youtube.com/@drsandracabot/search?query=gallbladder
https://www.youtube.com/@drsandracabot/search?query=fatty%20liver

You may find these articles helpful: https://liverdoctor.com/things-you-must-know-you-dont-have-gallbladder/

Many people with Gallbladder problems, still have a congested liver remaining after surgery and this is best reversed to improve your general health by reducing inflammation. The most common reason for gallbladder removal is liver congestion.

To boost liver health and vitality (as well as Digestive Enzymes and Ox Bile) Dr Cabot prescribes

Livatone Plus – Start with 1 capsule twice daily for the first 2 weeks and then increase to 2 caps twice daily, to improve liver function.

N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC 600mg) – Start with 1 cap twice daily for the first 2 weeks and then increase to 2 caps twice daily well away from food, if any upset occurs take at the beginning of your meals. This supplement works well with Livatone Plus to get your liver better faster. This supplement is the precursor nutrient of glutathione; the body’s strongest anti-oxidant. NAC should be taken with a whole glass of water away from food. Do not take just before retiring to bed. NAC can be strong on the stomach, and this is why you need to take it with a whole glass of water.
These can be purchased here: https://liverdoctor.com/products/supplements.html

To eradicate the Candida, we recommend taking

Bactoclear - 2 caps twice daily: https://liverdoctor.com/bactoclear-90-capsules.html

We also recommend downloading Dr Cabot's free e-book on gut health here: https://liverdoctor.com/ultimate-gut-health-book-free-download/

Had gallbladder removed in 2021. Since then I’ve been diagnosed with IBS. Seeing a functional medicine PA and have been on elimination of gluten eggs dairy sugar. Been on a variety of supplements to help heal disbiosis in my gut and help with IBS. Nothing seems to really change. I will have a normal bm in morning and there after have diarrhea several times before noon. Afternoons is pretty much free of any bms. I have no gas bloating or other symptoms usually with IBS just a guarantee diarrhea in the mornings. Tried enzymes and ox bile with no changes Right now we are trying hypnosis specifically for IBS to get the gut brain connection playing well with each other. Two weeks in and just a small change so far as I have more good days that ever before. I am eating gluten eggs little dairy and sugar again though. I became so frustrated with recording every morsel I eat for two years now and nothing seemed to change so doc said to take a break from all that and enjoy life while doing the hypnosis. I did go through 8 weeks on meds for a severe case of Candida in my gut with very little change in diarrhea. Any other suggestions?

Hi Laura,

Please check out Dr Cabot’s recent videos on the gallbladder and fatty liver here:

Many people with Gallbladder problems, still have a congested liver remaining after surgery and this is best reversed to improve your general health by reducing inflammation. The most common reason for gallbladder removal is liver congestion.
Now that you no longer has a gallbladder it is important to ensure there is sufficient bile present at each meal.

To supply bile, boost liver health and vitality, Dr Cabot prescribes

Super Digestive Enzymes Plus – 1 capsule at the beginning of each meal to ensure proper absorption and digestion of fats. These will work very well as they contain full spectrum pancreatic enzymes, Hydrochloric acid from Betaine, Hydrochloride, and Ox Bile.

Also, I have bad brain fog, and my cholesterol is high and I have gained 40 lbs and cannot eat dairy or gluten. I also am on a rx for reflux. What do you recommend taking for this? Hi Haris,

Please read the article at the following link, and keep for future reference, https://liverdoctor.com/natural-remedies-for-gallstones/.

Please also check out Dr Cabot’s recent videos on the gallbladder here: https://www.youtube.com/@drsandracabot/search?query=gallbladder

You can also check out her videos on fatty liver here: https://www.youtube.com/@drsandracabot/search?query=fatty%20liver

Gallstones are often associated with low bile production in the liver and insufficient ejection of bile from the gallbladder to renew the bile in the gallbladder.
Biliary sludge is an indication that you are not producing sufficient bile in your liver and your diet may not contain sufficient fats to encourage regular gallbladder emptying.
It is also likely that you have a degree of fatty liver which contributes to gallbladder sludge.
Fatty Liver usually occurs when the diet is too high in starchy high carbohydrate foods and/or processed foods.

To dissolve sludge, boost liver health and your vitality, Dr Cabot prescribes

‘Raw Juices Can Save Your Life’ contains therapeutic juices to stimulate liver function and, with it, bile production: https://liverdoctor.com/products/books/raw-juices-can-save-your-life.html

Livatone Plus – 1 cap twice daily for 2 weeks and then increase to 2 capsules twice daily, to improve liver function.

N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC 600mg) – 1 cap twice daily for 2 weeks and then increase to 2 capsules twice daily well away from food, if any upset occurs take at the beginning of your meals.
Hello, I am a 22-year-old male, and I have been suffering with folliculitis for a few years. Once I went to the doctor, I was prescribed antibiotics. The antibiotics worked, but once I was off the medication, the folliculitis would just come back. During this time frame, I started to experience severe pains; this was brushed off as IBS when speaking to my doctors. This is when I said I had enough and stopped the antibiotics course and tried to look for natural treatment. I came across the AIP diet. I followed most of the diet, and within a week my folliculitis made a huge difference and the flare-ups went down but not cured. I noticed I had a lot of food intolerance, but my pains did not go away. I had many attacks, and when I had enough and knew this wasn't IBS, I went to the hospital. I recently found out I have gallstones, and this was causing my pain, over time the gallstones triggers increased, I am currently only able to eat potatoes and veg, I am awaiting an appointment with the surgical team and would like to avoid removing my gallbladder if possible. I am wondering if all of this is connected, and what advice would you suggest?

Hi Coralie,

We are delighted to let you know that Dr Cabot has a 15 Day Cleanse – Two weeks to begin your journey toward improved overall health and function, utilising both supplements and a tasty, easy to prepare dietary regimen.

After completing the Cleanse, we recommend you remain on this style of eating and you can then begin the Maintenance plan that is available at the same website.

This supplement works well with Livatone Plus to get your liver better faster. NAC should be taken with a whole glass of water away from food. Do not take just before retiring to bed. NAC can be strong on the stomach, and this is why you need to take it with a whole glass of water.

These can be purchased here: https://liverdoctor.com/products/supplements.html
